Our Story: from China to France

In over 10 years of ministry, my wife Emilie and I have given our lives to pastor and mentor those that God has sent us into China, and then in Thailand.  In March 2017, we moved to France not knowing what will await for us, and the Lord has placed France in our hearts. [read more]

Our Vision: to make disciples that make disciples

The need for Christian workers has never been greater. As missionaries who deeply desire to make Christ known, our prayer is that you’ll be moved to take action in some way to support evangelistic efforts in France, either through intercessory prayer or a financial partnership. [read more]

Some Interesting Facts about the Tri-Border Region

did you know?

The greater tri-border region, including Basel, Mulhouse, Saint-Louis, Huningue, Weil am Rhein, and Lörrach, is home to around 1.5 million people. This area forms one of Europe’s most dynamic cross-border regions, where thousands of people cross national borders every day for work, education, and daily life.

Several major languages meet here. French and German are the dominant languages, while Swiss German dialects, English, and many immigrant languages are commonly heard in the streets, workplaces, and universities.

The region is also home to diverse cultural and religious communities, including growing Muslim populations, refugees from the Middle East and Africa, and international students studying in nearby universities.

Despite the rich cultural mix, only about 1% of people in this region are thought to personally follow Jesus or identify as born-again believers.

Yet this diversity creates a remarkable opportunity: people from many nations can hear about Jesus here and carry that message back to their families and communities.

40 - 50 %
This region reflects Western Europe’s strong secular trend. Roughly 40–50 % of people in France do not believe in God, and similar trends are seen in nearby towns across the tri-border area, including Basel, Mulhouse, and Lörrach. Christian beliefs and values are often considered secondary to modern, secular ideas.
1 x 10
Muslims are now the second-largest religious group in the area. In the tri-border region, there are at least 10 Muslims for every 1 person thought to be a committed follower of Jesus. Muslims make up an estimated 10–12 % of the population, including many refugees and migrants from the Middle East and Africa.
80 %
In France, less than 10 % of people own a Bible, and about 80 % have never read or held one. Across the tri-border region—including Basel, Mulhouse, Saint-Louis, Huningue, Weil am Rhein, and Lörrach—only around 1 % personally follow Jesus or are born-again, highlighting the urgent need for people to encounter God’s Word.
30,000
Belief in healing, astrology, and other spiritual practices is widespread. About half of French adults put some faith in mystical practices, and there are over 30,000 registered mediums and spiritual healers. That is 10 times more people working in the occult than there are committed followers of Jesus in the tri-border region.
